Straw ornaments have long been a tradition in many Scandinavian and eastern European countries. These beautifully detailed straw tree topper stars were made to order for us in Ukraine. They are quite a good-sized star and look just lovely on a tree. I was surprised by how quickly they were able to ship them. They have tiny gold thread details and are still slightly green in places (though will age to a lovely straw yellow). They even smell like fresh straw…
