After 12 years in business on Bayview Street in Camden, I decided to close the shop and transition to online only. I am so thankful to all of our customers who I would get to see almost every summer over the years. Now i am going to focus on growing our online business and hopefully run into many of those same customers (and their families and dogs :) when we’re out and about in town.

Sugar Tools is (was) a small shop in Camden, Maine that is (was) open seasonally from May through December. The store stocked things that are good looking and useful and a little bit different.  We are (were) located on Bayview St. right next to the ice cream shop.

Our online shop is a selection of things from the that change seasonally and as things sell out.

Amy O'Donnell, unexpectedly moved from NYC to midcoast Maine in 2009.  That first summer, from a friend and antique dealer, she bought an old tin sign with the stenciled words 'Sugar Tools' cut out.  Within a year, in May 2010 she had opened a shop.
