French Cooking in Ten Minutes

Edouard de Pomaine (1875-1964) was a french scientist, dietician and radio broadcaster.  He was known to be quite a personality and would have been a prime candidate for one of today’s cooking shows.  French Cooking in 10 Minutes is not the french cooking of fancy Parisien chefs and francophiles, rather it is recipes for people who want simple but very good food. Originally published in 1936, Julia Child was known to reference de Pomaine. The recipes still hold up today and may even re-introduce a few classic food pairings and ways of eating to today’s reader.

Paperback. 142 pages.
